Unpopular opinion: Prefer down level based upon experience.

Contrary to the opinion of people here at Blind, I am thinking to settle for a level below that is provided for my experience (like settling for Google L4 and equivalent).
The reason for this thought process is that I am recently married and want to spend a year or two without the extra hustle of office that comes with senior positions.

Is there any potential drawback that will impact my career significantly in future when I want to accelerate things.

Also, parents here in Blind, please share your experiences how you prioritise your work life with kids.
