Hi! I have a full loop coming up and would be extremely grateful to any insights or tips beyond the pages and pages of YouTube videos out there.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.#Amazon

I interviewed in November as an MBA Sr. PM position. The interviews weren’t as bad, they asked me about my experiences on my resume. A few questions I remember:

    1. Tell me about a time you had to make technical trade offs and walk me thru why you had to make those decisions.

    2. a time when you had to convince your boss/manager about something

    3. why amazon?

if you speak about an interesting project you did, they will ask follow-ups (so speak enthusiastically about something you know inside out as you can then control the interview and have them ask you follow ups on this…may not be the case for you, but they did that for me when I talked about a project I was working on)

MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO YOUR INTERVIEW WITH ENOUGH STORIES. DO NOT REPEAT STORIES!

    GOOD LUCK!

A principal Amazon PM sent me like a ~1000 word writeup on how the Amazon PM interview process really works and how to pass with a lot of helpful prep resource links when I was recruiting. Happy to pay it forward and send it your way. DM me your email address if interested.

    • @rapnroll unfortunately I can’t purchase the $500 product alliance course like you suggested so I’m hoping for some more direct help from here and other connections. But thanks again for your help, there’s def a lot of good content for people who are doing the technical and design round as well

In addition to the above - be ready with the what you would do differently and what you learned as you tell those stories. Just practice the LP questions.

If you have to repeat a story, be up front and at least tell it from a different perspective so the interviewer is getting more new data about you.
