Company I’m working for is actively looking to be acquired. I’ve been told there are 10+ potential buyers and that the sale will happen sooner than what I may think. I’m anticipating it’ll happen within the next 3 months max.
I’m a director level people manager. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m chopped at time of acquisition, but I could also very well be “saved”.
If you’ve been through an acquisition before, what do you wish you did to be better prepared?
If you were me, what would you start doing now in preparation for the acquisition to be made official? (Bc im not privy to consistent updates from C-suite, unfortunately)
How soon after an acquisition would change start happening?
Is it always a brand new C-suite team that would take things over?
TC: $200k
