Uplevel to L4 at FAANG with 1 YOE

Just about to hit my 1 yr as L3. Graduated last year so i have 1 YOE. How likely am I to get an offer at the L4 level at FAANG now? Do i need to do extremely well in interviews? Wait and interview later for more job experience?

    I'd say ultimately depends on what you did as an L3. Uber L3 experiences are very different across the board, ie. I was stuck as an L3 for 2 Yrs at Uber and now am L5 at Amazon (L4 equivalent). I'd say look at what the responsibilities are and make your best guess. Uber also promos fairly quickly and I've worked with many L4/L5 who did not have the experience to fill in fully the responsibilities.

    Need to do very well from what ive seen. Easier to try at 1.5 and closer to 2 yoe.
