Was bumped up from L4 to L5 due to strong interview performance. Since I have <3 YOE and only a BS, all of my other competing offers are L4. I haven’t received offer details yet, but I don’t expect it to start as a strong L5 offer. Is there anyway I can negotiate here without any comparable offers?
If I take an average or below average L5 offer, will it limit my future earnings, or will there be relatively larger pay bumps to compensate for the lower start?
