I have an interview coming up for Lyft L5, their autonomous driving division. Ride aggregators have been having a tough time surviving. Both Uber and Lyft have had layoffs, and Uber is willing to sell its ATG division. Meanwhile, Lyft is still hiring scientists for L5
Should I consider joining Lyft if I get a huge TC bump?
TC: £120k

Overall TC at Lyft is quite good. As for Lyft L5, they are way behind other self driving car companies and many of the management folks (at that time) didn’t have sufficient domain specific and/or relevant product development experience. In several threads this fact has been supported by several Lyft insiders so perhaps they can pitch in with the latest developments.
I had like 10 offers this time so tbh job stability isn't really something I care about
