I got laid off this month and to stop my unemployment days as I am on H1-B visa, I plan to join a desi consultancy firm ( they will file for my H1-B transfer) and in parallel I am interviewing for few companies and might expect some offer in a month. So my question is after joining the desi consultancy and not working for them or even if I work for them and simultaneously the other company that I actually want to join after clearing all their interviews and they file for my H1-B transfer, will it cause any problem in the transfer process as multiple companies would file for my transfer?
I may not also have pay stubs as the proof from the consultancy that I would join in order to stop my unemployment days to give it to the attorney if asked as one of the document to file for the H1B transfer.

Please if any one can suggest or has been in a similar situation or has any idea about it can guide me further.

By Desi consulting firm not paying your whatever they said they would pay you on h1b that is violation. When you file a transfer, uscis should see this, approve h1b but in consular processing forcing you to get a visa stamp to get h1b activated.

I have read some answer where even filing h1b Transfer you also file complaint to dol against consulting firm and submit proof of complaint to uscis.

Yes, if you are employed by desi consultancy as your latest employer. Now, if they do not, that is a violation at which point you would have to get h1b in consular processing or have proof or something that you filed a complaint to dol about wages. If you search on avvo, you will see some odd cases like these.
