Can someone shed some light on the hiring process of walmart ECommerce (non tech roles) and if my requested TC was too much to ask for
Got interviewed for a PM role in walmart ecommerce. It was quite short with three interviewers 30 mins each. The interview went well but i did not get an offer
Not sure if it was my interview or my TC request that played the role
I asked for a 130k base plus bonus, stocks and my perm (green card) process to initiate.
I am a PM in Amazon with 6yrs of total experience and 2 yrs in a PM role at Amazon.
Also what is a good way to reach out to walmart recruiters. I have applied to a number of positions but there hasnt been an update since 10 days
Thank you in advance.

Im hoping to cash that out in the near future :)
In general, NEVER introduce comp without an offer except in the context of what your currently make. Always say you want to focus on the fit first, and then base comp negotiations on that.
Also, why were you so prescriptive requesting bonuses and stocks? Just focus on total comp, not the specific mix of comp components. Every company has their own philosophy, and Walmart is more amenable to negotiation on base than Amazon but less so with stocks (at Amazon, RSU is the only lever worth debating). You should really let them show their hand on comp first.
I remember my interview loops being longer, and overall they felt really positively. But i approached it with humility, and never raised comp until we were ready to move forward with an offer. Their comp exceeded Amazon’s but I went to Amazon anyway. You likely turned them off by trying to dictate comp before you had even passed their interview, thinking your are hot shit for Walmart because of Amazon on your resume and can call the shots. Try more humility next time.
I think i should be more careful next time when i am asked this question
I guess i wasnt just as good as the other candidate
