Which orgs are good from Ux research perspective ?
If you had to list 5 Microsoft products that are great, which ones would you list? Those are the ones that value ux research. OneNote is one. Office apps on Android/iOS is probably another. The other way to think about this is which orgs will be forced to invest in ux research because they can't do a/b testing or "guess"? The windows hardware teams that work on tented/secret devices fall in this group. Hololens came out of this group.
None!
I’ve had a few great experiences with UX research. It totally depends on the org.
Which orgs actually do UX research? I thought most teams have it where PMs decide on a UX and for the most part refuse to budge as their bonus depends on how much of the UX ends up hitting customers. Fire and forget - users don't like it? They are not smart enough to understand..
Please do research on the org you are interviewing with. Most orgs don't understand there value of ux research. And don't respect researchers. Vicious cycle, leads to low quality researchers which furthers the stereotype.
