Will coasters at Google be fired next recession even if their services are still profitable?

It seems clear at this point that Google is a company for wlb. Half of people on here call it a retirement home. Will this eventually result in layoffs where the people who stay pick up the leftover work?

      Unfortunately i don't have a good understanding of effect on tech companies and reasons for financial crisis in 09 after from the cdo and real estate reasons i learnt from big short.

      Na meta will pay better and better career progression, Bloomberg has only to positions for ic , se and see due to this salary are lower in comparison

    Coasters are usually first be let go regardless of company since orgs have reduction in force layoff target.

      Right, you can't really coast in New job since they expect work from you. I think after 1 to 2 years you can but who knows how bad recession will be and how long it will last
