Is it ok to cancel LTC (long term care) policy in WA state ?
Is it a good idea to cancel it now ? I couldn’t get it from transamerica and had to take from some other company. It’s costing $300 per month for me and spouse. Will we be able to get policy again with better rates before July 2023 #LTC #WALtc

New legislation offers opt-out exemptions for nonimmigrant visa holders from Jan1 2023. I am guessing it means we dont need a private insurance to be eligible but are eligible based on visa status...if this applies to you.

Think so, 3600 per year is a rip off. You can still get LTC with life insurance for way less
