Greencard delay due to COVID

Anyone in the process of filling Greencard that started prior to Covid, is it experiencing delay? I plan to start the GC process given I have 2.5 years left with OPT STEM extension and I am not from India or China so I think it‘s feasible but not factoring in the COVID situation yet.

Can I extend OPT and file GC at the same time? I don‘t want to wait 1.5 years for H1B (if luckily I got it with first try) before going for Greencard.

As long as your PERM can be done in less than 2.5 years.

Once PERM is approved file I140/485 concurrently and get your EAD card from 485, you’re in good shape

      OP
So then I will have 3 filing cases at the same time: OPT STEM extension, H1B, Green card.

You probably don't want all 3 at the same time. I assumed you already had OPT in hand. It's fine to apply H1B and green card simultaneously. Once you apply for green card, do not apply or extend OPT (since OPT implies explicit non-immigrant intent). Talk to a lawyer!
