Hi Blinders!
After negotiating heavily and turning them down two times, Bloomberg came back with a written offer for “Enterprise Data - Software Quality Assurance Engineer” in Princeton, NJ location. Initially, they offered TC = 95k, then they came back with TC = 125k but ultimately I negotiated the below:
TC = 140k
Base = 130k
Yearly bonus = 10k
Medical and dental insurance, as well as commuter benefits, included in the offer at no extra cost.
Currently, I work as a Developer Analyst at Barclays, Whippany Campus, NJ.
TC = 112k
Base = 110k
Yearly bonus = 2k
I am also interviewing at Amazon for a SDE1 position, I finished the final virtual on-site this past Friday so perhaps they could be extending an offer. I much rather work as SDE than QA, my passion and excitement is inclined towards SDE.
What would you do? Please advice and help 😁

If you're actively interviewing you'll soon land a good job within months and the difference in TC is only a few bucks for that span of time.
If you aspire to be SWE/SDE wait for the right offer.
Im doing that myself. Just got a 170k TC offer (~50k raise in med-COL where FAANG would pay 225k+).
