Verbal offer: E5 level 1/28/2022 no number yet and will have follow up call to discuss total package

      Even if you do not have one, see if you can make one up reasonably. You can say Amazon will match this offer. You can say you have a verbal offer for X. The cases that I have seen recently, they have not asked for written offers for verifying competing offers. This is my experience too.

      Fyi. Max offer i know for IC5 is 200 base +15% bonus + 500k RSU over 4 years + 50k sign on for Menlo Park.

    How does recruiter determine which level candidate will interview for? I have a recruiter call tomorrow and not sure if I will be considered for ic4 or ic5 de role.

    • After your onsite, when the recruiter calls you with an offer, they will let you know the level. If you are not happy with your level and you know your interview was solid, then you can push the recruiter for a higher level.
      You can also ask your recruiter anytime in the process, but it really doesn't mean anything because they will consider you for ic4/5 by default.
