The promotions at Dun and Bradstreet seem very random and there seems to be no defined path for career progression. Anyone else feel likewise?
Slow and compensation adjustments are a pittance. I just got promoted to Senior SWE and I only got a 5% raise.
Promotions are based on visibility of impact (not necessarily impact itself), which means making sure you are seen in Teams chats having high value discussions. People who are good at promoting and advocating for themselves do well.

Not too difficult imo. Just the basics will suffice. More emphasis on real life scenarios.
