Any L7 Amazon Sr Sdm able to share some thoughts/Tips? L7 phone screen next week.
I have phone screen scheduled for Amazon L7 Sr. SDM role.
I really don't want to blow it as my unicorn startup I joined is turning into a donkey.
For anyone else who might ask, I am also talking to Activision, Microsoft, and Meta recruiters but Amazon is first to move so far.
Any tips for key qualitative or quantitative areas or specific 'more integral' areas to highlight for LP responses?
Outside of grokking and DDIA refresher, any other tips for expected level to provide responses for during System Design rounds?
Any other L7 day-in-the-life tips or things you can share, other tips that dont come up often I should study up on, or practice, please share. It's difficult to find much on web or blind for this level for prep, interviews, or general experience.
Blind tax:
Yoe: 15 [10 in leadership]
Tc: 200 as equity is long way off from converting to $.

For design rounds if you can have knowledge of System Design by Alex Xu, it should be good enough for phone screen.
Do they really go through the LPs And SD? Or is it going to be more high level to explain the role and learn my experience to find out a potential fit for the next rounds (of LPs and SDs)?
