I recently interviewed at LivePerson for SDM role. I have heard horror stories about their recruiters on Blind. It was a good experience for me until they scheduled the final loop. I was surprised they didn't have a system design round for SDM position. Recruiter said it's not needed. One of the interviewer didn't even show up for interview. When I reported it, they rescheduled it for a later day. After all 4 rounds, recruiter calls and says they needed another datapoint on coding and she can schedule it next day. I said, it's ok and asked them to schedule, if it makes them comfortable to come to a decision. Not sure why they didn't include coding/system design to begin with. It's been more than a week and two reminders and the recruiter totally ghosted. It's fine if they wanted to move on to different candidate, but the way they treat us esp in this job market is not professional. TC: 370K #liveperson #engineering #sdm
Trash company! The hiring managers there can't make up their mind. Interviewed for non-swe position and first round was system design. Some shitty take home assignments as well. Run!
The company has the worst work culture with 50% staff from Amazon. So you can imagine the work culture and work life balance. Pay is very less as compared to market value. Managers are always micro-managing. The growth of engineers is very very less around 1 person getting promoted each year in the teams of 50 people. Avoid this company if you have counter offer or regret it later. That gave amazon SDM as their VP of the company π
Why you leaving msoft?
Not leaving unless they offer a tremendous package. At this point I am done with them.
