At Amazon, we reward people to be jerks. There is no emphasis on collaboration or helping others. Those who are aggressive, poke their nose into everything in the name of "customers" and generally act like jerks tend to flourish. Collaboration is not a leadership principle. What you do matters - not how you do it. It's fine if you need to trample on others to meet your goals.

Which companies encourage people to nice, less belligerent, more collaborative? I need more amicable co-workers

I encourage people to be aggressive which is what weak people you'll read as "jerks" because they're push overs who complain on blind instead of standing up for themselves.

Send this man to his country first before spreading the bad culture (produce bullies). He is trying to destroy the labor law and practice people had fought for years and get this country back to third world status where weak minds (by his definition) don't survive.

Lol, nah I left years' ago. But for real Netflix should stop demonizing ex-employees. Have you ever wondered why recruiters at Netflix always has to bring talent from outside valley? Bay is a small place; open door policy and summary dismissals might have worked in the past, talent in valley is just not drinking that koolaid any longer.

I have successfully blocked and witnessed the successful blocking of jerks from getting promoted here. Some succeed for some amount of time, but it only takes one good manager above and a few good non-pushover peers to solve the problem.

It's two ceos. Safra and Mark

Mark Hurd defected from hp after sex scandal.

Safra is cozying up to trump. It's possible that safra might join the trump administration

Both aren't great with leadership. I prefer Thomas Kurian as the next CEO
