OP, i wouldn't expect a lot of responses to this question from this anonymous forum. The readers know (almost) literally nothing about you, and free time is a precious commodity. Unless you say something that helps estimating the opportunity cost of having coffee with you vs any other activity, it sounds a bit pretentious to expect people to jump on this :) what do you think? Or is my mental process another symptom of the Seattle freeze and I am simply too immersed in it to realize it?
Can you guys expand on what the non Seattle freeze thought process is like?
I value my free time more than anything else these days. I'd take a pay cut to work fewer days of the week. Given that this is the tech lounge, I imagine most people treasure their time.
Its also awesome that you think all the people who viewed this were in Washington. You posted it in the lounge and i am betting that most folks are actually in Silicon Valley.
