At this point, if Amazon wants to fix its recruiting challenges any time soon or improve its image, it should acquire Blind and dissolve the company.

I work 9 hrs/day, not good but not bad. I get paid among the top in my experience/age group, we don't get pipped left right like Amazon.

And I enjoyed a an extra day off today as a eng wellness day. So yeah not complaining.

Anonymity is a takeaway of any SM to speak without fear. Imagine even with anonymity we have such bizarre threats like dissolving blind

  • Blind isn’t really the issue. The general public image of its workplace environment has been destroyed because of everything related to the warehouse employees. If you tell non-tech people you are joining Amazon, they automatically assume poor working conditions, even for white-collar level employees OR they would be skeptical of you working for a company that treats their warehouse employees that way. If anything, despite all of the pip horror stories, blind reminds people that it is still a faang.
