I have been using RoR for the past couple years and really enjoy it. More than enough library support. Makes it really easy to create an app since it's convention over configuration. Some Python folks tell me Ruby is nicer to read and look at

RoR is still pretty good if you want to work at startups unlikely to succeed or start your own business quick and nimble. If the end game is to work at Google or maybe even a top tier startup, Rails isn't going to get you very far. Probably better off learning Python in later case.
