This is just soul crushing. I've been in my position for 4 years now and my take home after all deductions is almost the same as it was 4 years ago when I started. Before everyone jumps on the look for a better job wagon, Ive been applying to hundreds of jobs externally and dozens internally. Had my resume and cover letter professionally rewritten and still no luck. Considering going back to get masters but no idea in what. Feeling lost and defeated.

    Going back to get a master degree and a pile of debt completely negates the purpose of you wanting to get another degree for more $$$
    We obviously don’t know you but truthfully there is something about you that is blocking your progress if you are truly putting in the work.
    Are you at least getting interviews? If not, then your resume is the first thing that needs to be revisited. All professional resume reviewers are not the same

      I don't mind going for masters if there is something that I'm passionate about studying but there isn't so it doesn't make sense to do that. Had my resume redone at Topresume.com. since then I got 2 interviews internally but still no offers.

    I would suggest looking into certification that compliment your skill set. There are several free courses you can take.
