just had a horrible experience. ordered food. canceled 40 mins later. lied to by customer support. hung up on three times. asked for credit, they said no. I said I won't use the service anymore. they said they don't care. what is this nonsense?

    Yeah, calling bullshit. Uber eats will give you $5 if you complain that your spring rolls that were delivered from 30 minutes away are not super hot and crispy. As a shareholder, how easy it is to get refunds disturbs me a little bit.

  • Uber eats is normally great in resolving issues. Just do a complaint in the app. Have had entire meals refunded directly

      I replied with a question which is unanswered. There are lots of people out there who beg for $5 every order or ride, and considering OP is on here whining it wouldn't surprise me if he/she was one of them. Not all customers are worth keeping.

      There are def bad experiences, they do happen. But CS seems pretty good at resolving them in my anectdotal experiences and from what I've heard from others. If this was a bigger problem and the issues were exacerbated or left unaddressed, I would be surprised to learn about it and would try to voice my concern internally.
