My company was recently acquired by VMware and I think I'm getting shafted in my new TC with them. Wanted to see what VMware MTS 2 range is in Palo Alto to see if I should ask for more.
You’re not getting shafted, Pivotal just pays significantly under market and it’ll take some time before it fits within VMW standards. Pivotal is a failed company and essentially got bailed out (bought at a nearly 100% premium), so not sure why so many people feel entitled to raises
At least you'll have stocks that actually do well 😗 But if you want feedback you gotta give us that TC
Base 115 RSUs - 40k plus 15k retention over 4 years
There should be a raise because Pivotal growth potential > vmware growth potential. There's more risk, but generally larger, slower growth companies have larger RSUs compared to companies that have higher risk/reward.

TC of 150-170 but could vary depending on the team. Levels.fyi might help.
