How not to be vengeful against former employer?
I joined this startup with lot of hopes and dreams looking at their LinkedIn posts.
Once I joined I realized what a mistake I have done. I still tried, gave my everything, worked long hours, handled important projects very well.
But politics took over. Managers and seniors want to steal the credit. Assign random task and take over the project that is nearing completion. Showcase as if they did all the work. And then no reward and not even word of encouragement. HR don’t care and senior management don’t listen.
It was very tough explaining in interviews why I am leaving this startup so soon. But I am happy that I left and joined an established company with good HR practices.
However, how to get it out of my head? I feel wronged and I am so vengeful. I am sure every one of us had such situation where you felt wronged by former employer. How did you let it go?#officelife #workplace #harness #culture
