Recruiter is telling me I had positive feedbacks and wanted to send me an offer. But he didn't ask me for the next step? I assume he will need my expected salary? How should I ask for offer details, or is it right to just ask for a written offer? TC: 200K
Which company?
Apple, I had different teams interviewed. It’s so hard to get a insight in Apple as different org tend to have different pay
Wait. If you don't hear back in a week then email and find out. Don't jump the gun and don't give any initial numbers.
I don’t get this BS with not giving the initial numbers. You will never be suddenly pleasantly surprised by an offer. There is enough data on the internet — the ranges are out there and you know where you stand, so firmly ask for the numbers you want and can get or you won’t get them. The back and forth is tacky and gets shut down more often than not, so it’s best to intercept the recruiter initially right after the verbal stage and tell them your numbers so they can get them for you.
