How does geberal Verily compensation line up with the tech space? Are they similar to google? Less because they’re smaller, etc? TC 180 +60k stock - 10 YOE product design
Exactly like google
Any thoughts on potential compensation based on 10+ years of experience? Currently leading product design at a healthcare startup for the past 2 years.
As general fang offers, yoe is a bad proxy to estimate comp. it depends on the exact role and level you can land the offer. For e5 swe it would be berween 350 and 400k
Nah yoe does matter for comp within a certain level. My recruiter specifically told me this at Google due to my low yoe.
I had L5 offers from both in 2019. Verily offered 83% of Google's offer and claimed they were maxed out. My interview performance felt about equal but that often doesn't align with interviewer feedback so 🤷♂️
Which offer did you take, or none judging by your handle?
Didn't take either of them. (Haven't been at Pandora in a while either)
Probably comparable to Google I’d say
