My i485 is under process
priority date nov 12 2018
biometrics nov 1 2019
i131 & ead approved and card was mailed on feb 26 2020
i485 status changed on Jan 23 2020 to case ready to be scheduled for interview.
1. how long does it take for the interview to be scheduled?
2. also how does the interview get scheduled? Does Uscis set a date and notify us or do we get a mail with the details?
3. how does international travel work with the advance parole?
any pointers for this would help me alot.

1. Case Ready To Be Scheduled doesn’t give away much in terms of timing of the interview. It totally depends on your local field office work load to schedule interviews. I’ve seen people get interview notice in about a month to waiting more than 6 months after receiving that case update.
2. They send a physical mail with date and time of the appointment. Online status will change to something like “Interview has been scheduled”.
3. You can travel with AP. Just be careful when you return and ask to be admitted properly if you have another status such as H1b.
