Video call technical interview with HomeAway/VRBO
It is a company acquired by Expedia. Has anyone gone through this interview process? What to expect? What is the difficulty?

When I went through the interview process, noone that interviewed me was on the team I was going to. They told me I would be able to pick a team after I get pass the onsite. I am not entirely sure how it works for SDE because I interviewed for SWE but I dont see it being any different.
Yep, for SWE hiring, we use a process called “OneTeam Interviewing” where selected engineers in the company are trained to interview. When an interview is setup, 4 interviewers are selected at random so they are usually not on the team that is hiring. The first 3 interviews are usually coding and the last is behavioral. If the interviewee passes, they get to have bid calls with hiring managers and then choose what team they would like to be on. Some parts of it are dumb and some parts are genius.

Yes it is acquired by Expedia. I am not sure about Interview process of Vrbo and difficulties. Probably it should be similar with any other interview. Also it depends on position and level
