Visa Stamping with current employer with H1 transfer pending

I want to travel to home country for an occasion. I need to go to for visa stamping. But I got an offer with another company and h1 transfer is pending. I will come back and work with current employer before the switch. Technically, I was told I can travel by the new employer. Any suggestions or similar experiences with anyone ?

Well, I don’t see any risk here? What do you worry about specifically ?

Any time you go to stamp a visa it’s a risk. It all depends on the mood of the guy there. I personally never took any risk like this I see people getting stuck all the time

Agreed, but this risk is inevitable and not related to the fact that OP is planning to switch afterwards

Also can my current employer come to know about my H1 transfer in case of stamping gets held up through current employer attorneys who will be helping me to address the issue if am stuck

Hey, sorry I thought you already had visa stamped. Yes, avoid travelling in the mean time unless new H-1b petition gets approved. As you correctly mentioned, visa officer may take the view that you are getting stamped for a particular job with another H-1b transfer pending. Not that anything is wrong even then, but gives a bit more chance for visa officer to create unnecessary hassle

What are the hassles can he create ? Can he reject my current employer visa ?
