Is anyone trying to disrupt payment processing industry? Why is there no disruption in 60+ years? I feel they didn’t even innovate anything in last 10+ years except keep on increasing their fees.

There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that the consumer like you doesn’t see as innovative. Tap to pay and digital wallets are the most visible things that consumers see. All of the fraud prevention tech is not visible to consumers and only merchants and banks. Payments is an extremely complicated space and the reason why no one can touch V and Mastercard is because of how much work it is to setup a card network.
Um... They payments industry has been turned on its head with disruption and innovation. Peer to peer payments with plaid/Venmo, crypto currency and Blockchain, apple pay... There are a ton of new players in the Fintech space.
