I am from India in Amazon and thinking to apply USA visa after I have 1 year anniversary finished. I want to stay long time in USA with family but am I wrong to go on L visa? Here one my friend told I did a mistake and should be requesting h1b. I am feeling sick my stomach making poor India salary and wanting to go soon to better life in USA..
Come with an L1a for better chance of green card (if you want to stay long term)
Improve your English first
In Amazon India and making poor salary?are you the security guy at the gate. They work hard still make less salary. If you are not that guy stop crying and stop saying you feel sick about your earning.
Learn English first.
OP I’m being sincere. If you want to stay in USA and have a decent salary and support a family, you have to seriously work on your English and grammar. Your communication is difficult it will hurt your ability to get a decent job.
If you’re serious about coming. Fix the English first, take classes. It’s really important. Stick with L1 visa. H1B denial rates are increasing. L1 is safer route to choose. Also easier to get green card from this route. You can also stay up to 7 years compared to H1B 6 years. However there’s no extension for L1.
Just curious, Does Amazon apply L visa for anyone who completes 1 year? I see many people from Amazon creating threads about L1 so early in their tenure
L5+ yes
Man your grammar sucks!
Fly to Mexico and then claim asylum at border.
If your Amazon salary in India is insufficient, it will be equally poor in the usa (if you decide to stay put in the usa). Its all relative
Not equally, much more poorer in USA. You would be earning more but relatively earning less
