I received an offer from Visa for a Financial Analyst role. Salary 80k plus bonus, location SF. Pwc offered me a role as a Transer Pricing analyst. Salary 65 plus bonus, location Cleveland, OH. Any thouhgts or advice?
As someone who left PwC completely burned out on travel, who recommends consulting to very few people- it might actually make sense in your situation. Take every opportunity to hit the airport and get out of Cleveland. Bond with clients all over the country, then take your pick of exit opportunities
Thanks this is encouraging feedback
You won't go beyond 'getting-by' with that TC in SF.
I would say pwc. Exit opportunities after few years are way better than when you start with industry.
Go with Visa. Transfer pricing is a back office role with limited upside. If your offer with pwc is with their mgmt consulting arm then i would have advised you to take pwc
Go with pwc if you want no life
80k salary at Bay Area is too little.. You will barely survive.

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager

Go for PWC : more opportunities for the future career, salary is about the same for SF vs Cleveland
I agree! My only concern is that Transfer Pricing is too niche
