I have family visiting the US from India for the next 3 months. Any recommendations on visitors health insurance plans that I can get.

    Look into direct primary care practices (DPC) near you. They don't take insurance but are cheaper than insurance and can provide wholesale price for meds. Get this in addition to the visitor health plan. If relatively healthy DPC may be enough

    Patriot America is where I used to go for my visiting family when I was in the US (I am assuming your family is visiting the US)

  • I had really bad experience with patriot America when my parents visited last time. For claims, they asked documents and after sending those and repeated followups, they rejected claim after 4 months. At start of claim they mentioned it can be reimbursed that's why I spent 4 months following up. Waste of time. Go for anything but not any insurance owned by IMG
