YOE: 2 years
Current TC: 120k (contractor, 0 benefits or PTO, hourly pay)
Offer:
Base: 130k
Sign on: 15k
“On-hire stock award”: 15k (is this per year? Didn’t mention vesting period in offer)
Bonus: up to 20%
Relocation: 2.5k
They didn’t specify a level in the offer, which I find weird. Moving from mind numbing big bank application (learning nothing, mature app, mostly support) to MSFT core services - sales and marketing. I’ve been told that this is an awful team, but seems like a huge step up from a bank.
PS - undergrad degree is in engineering, not CS

Base looks fine.
Cash Bonus is low. (But MSFT offers less bonus to industry hires vs college hires)
Stock is for 4 years, very low. (Ditto)
