New grad offers | Meta, Affirm, Datadog, Coinbase, Amazon
Hello -
I was lucky enough to get five great offers this new grad recruiting cycle. I need to decide relatively quickly (next two weeks), so I'd like help in making a good decision. I value remote, learning, opportunities for growth, resume equity, TC, etc. If you had these offers, which would you choose?
My prep: LC 66 Easy / 160 Medium / 22 Hard. No system design because new grad. Hardest interview was Affirm (not algorithmically challenging but implementation-heavy, unique problems), and easiest was Amazon (all common LC).
TC Breakdowns (Base | Stock | Bonus):
Meta: $130k | $150k / 4 | $50k
Datadog: $135k | $40k | $50k
Affirm: $135k | $72k | $30k
Coinbase: $140k | $50k | $7k
Amazon: $129k | $95k / 4 | $60k / 2
Affirm and Datadog stock listed as amount that yearly vests. CB is one year grant.
Which one should I choose? Meta, Affirm, and Coinbase can be remote, others in office.
Current TC: 0

I joined from amazon, where I honestly did more impactful work in one month than I've done in a year here. But I learned so much from my time there that I'm still miles ahead of people with my same YOE
Coinbase might go bust soon, so thereโs a risk. Iโd chose meta, you can jump to aws later as well if you feel like..easier than meta.
Iโd not even count datadog or affirm.
2 cents: be ready to move, good initially to get some office setting experience
Not sure about affirm but definitely not up there with FAANG
