I am going on pip in 3-4 weeks time. I need help to prioritize companies, which are respectable but relatively easy to get hired. Goal is to join a decent company ASAP (reason I am on H1B).

For an example it is easier to get hired for MSFT vs Google. So I should prioritize MSFT interviews over Google.

Please suggest respectable companies that have relatively easy interviews. I will try to schedule interviews with them first.

I was pipd in August. All of a sudden without any prior indications. Start applying to companies right now. The whole process can take at least about 1 to 2 months to find a new job. You can also extend your time by taking FMLA leave. For me it to 3 months to find a new job. I'd say Salesforce, Microsoft and Walmart are more easier to get into right now.

Nothing major. I once missed a deadline for a delay caused by another team. My manager decided to hold me responsible for that and kept on bringing up the same thing every 1 on 1 and even wrote straight up lies in my pip doc saying I was supposed to some x task on y date. When in reality the task was assigned to me a month later than what he stated. I'm glad I'm out

you'd need paperwork for fmla to be approved. In my case I didn't need to show paperwork until I returned, I got a new job by the time I returned. I'd suggest going to a therapist for work related stress as a reason which should help you with the paperwork.

What aspects of your performance are putting you on PIP? “Easy” interviews is subjective.. Perhaps reasons for your PIP would highlight your strengths vs weaknesses and help us suggest what’s a better company/culture for you and in turn be “easier” for you to crack an interview and get hired

Try Datadog. Take home assignment can be time consuming (4-5 hours).
But, the interviews are not that difficult, in my opinion.
