I am interviewing for SDE-1 role at Goldman Sachs. Had 1st coderpad round last week. I did both questions completely and the interviewer was also quite satisfied. I got the HR mail yesterday who set up another rounds. So she has set up 2 rounds which are one after the other but she didn't tell me what kind of rounds they are. They're over zoom. She has given 2 coderpad links with them too. Does anyone know which rounds are these? I asked my queries to the HR over mail but she never replies nor do I have her direct phone number. #goldmansachs #softwaredeveloper #SDE
I had online assessment, coder pad round and super day which has 3 rounds. First round in those 3 rounds is technical and some random stuff. 2nd round is about your role in company and 2 coding questions, 3rd round is drilling through resume in depth.
My interview happened 2 weeks back for Associate role in Dallas. 2*3 people interviewed me in 3 rounds.
That's really informative. Thanks man!
You will probably be interviewed by people in the team you're applying to. They'll be free to ask you anything. So usually stuff applicable to the role. The coderpads will be there in case you need to code for any questions. This would be my guess because that's what we do in our team.
So are these the last rounds? I've heard there are variable rounds in GS. I've seen people having 5-9 rounds. Since I had just 1 online assessment and 1st coderpad round, I doubt if these are the last technical rounds.
I'd expect at least 4 more interviews before a decision is made. GS don't do crazy amount of rounds anymore in my experience.
