I saw quite a lot of software engineering manager jobs posted from Facebook. For those M1 positions, there is no requirement for previous management experience, but a few years of software engineer experience.
Does this mean an applicant to Facebook M1 does not need to be a manager before?
If not, what is the hard requirement of how many years of prior management experience? For example, can a new manager with less than 1 year experience apply for the M1?
Thanks a lot.

What's the typical size of a team, managed by M1 ?
Not supporting the team? Cluless about the work? No vision for the team? No career growth help?
A general A mamager is not helpful.
