I am looking to change my cable connection. I am mainly interested in watching CNN, TBS and HBO. I feel that Comcast and ATT Uverse charge a lot and was looking for cheaper options. However it's important that the availability/quality must be good. Also note that Direct TV now is different from DirecTV. It's a no-contract cable service launched in late 2016. Does anyone have any recommendations on which cable provider to choose amongst Direct TV Now/Hulu/Sling/Roku? PS- If there are any other providers you recommend, please let me know too
I go with Amazon, Netflix, Hulu. Have tried others including Sling, HBO, but turned it all off. Kodi + VPN (PIA) + Quasar is pretty fucking fantastic.
After 7 years of no cable I just signed up with xifinity.. The streaming after a while did not work out for me
Try YouTube TV! Awesome one!
Vote for Hulu. Will have a brand new launch near with cheap price
DirecTV Now is horrible. Streams get stuck, login not available on many of the apps(Nat Geo etc). It at times complains of more than 2 streams although none are present. Service goes down too frequently for comfort. Overall not worth $35. I had got an early bird discount where I got $35 go big package of 100+ channels. Just cancelled last week. Currently using Hulu and Netflix.
How is the mobile app of Hulu? Or I need to use the old fashioned remote?
I don't use the mobile app. Generally watch on TV. I have the Hulu app on Apple TV and it is pretty good.
