As title says, I have heard/read a lot of posts saying WLB at Facebook is pretty bad. I will be joining Facebook soon, cause $$$.
But I want to know how bad it actually is, in my current team at Amazon I have become really comfortable with codebase that I rarely need to do 40+ hours a week.
So how much should I expect once I join Facebook?

If one is fine with working 40 hours, he isn't going to complaint about working 20 😉
The first year is tough because you need to learn all the internal tooling. You’re only graded on impact, not effort, so it cuts both ways. It can be hard to do 40 hrs and make impact when you don’t know the tools, so the first year can be rough.
After that, you settle in and know the PSC game and how to check all the right boxes. MA isn’t too hard at E5 and lower.
