I’m considering taking a role at Apple, which means I’ll be going into the office everyday. What is the WLB at apple? I pretty sure it’s team specific, but it would be good get multiple opinions. Thanks :)
Definitely team specific. I’ve got great WLB. It can be rough initially but once you get going it is much better.
Maybe if you can include some hint about Which team you will be joining. I have worked as contractors in is&s and my team was super cool with wlb but adjacent teams in same org had very bad wlb. Now I am full time with software engineering org and wlb is great
I think it would be best if you narrowed down your question by telling us which org/team your joining, don’t you think?
I am considering joining IS&S — big data technologies. Am afraid to reveal more as I have not accepted the offer yet :)

Best LCOL or MCOL city?
Definitely team specific. I’m in part of IS&S, and it’s actually not that bad. I’ve worked long hours and some weekends at crunch time, but overall it’s very much a “just get your shit done” mentality. Whether that takes a few days or a few weeks for any given task is largely based on your own abilities, but there are many people on our team who enjoy their lives outside of work. Even sub orgs within IS&S can vary a lot, so obv just speaking from my own experience.
