It's getting some serious hate online and people are saying its not ready and feels rushed. Communication with the customers have been aweful and shipping has been all over the place. Anyone on the Stadia team want to share their thoughts?
It's good that people are being skeptics.
Yeah, I don't know. I ordered one long ago and my delivery is delayed, haven't gotten a code, etc. I was hyped at one point but I'm not particularly anymore.
That's known as a "classic Google launch" in the biz. See: every other Google product launch. Ever.
I just got my code, but haven't gotten my controller or Chromecast yet. But I was able to try it with a Nintendo Switch controller on my Pixel 3 and on a corp MBP with a magic mouse. It's so cool! Regardless of anything, playing Destiny 2 on a cell phone feels indescribable. Way to go Stadia!
Google... Bad communication? Doesn't sound like them!
LOL! Shuts down?!
What big money, no experience and unwieldy large teams brings you ....
It really isn’t a “product launch” in the classical sense, this is just the MVP launch. It’s more to tell game developers it’s fertile land for a game, and maybe Google will bankroll your dream game. They don’t give a shit if it flops right now, Google has unlimited money. It’s a 5-10 year out venture.
Is Activision Blizzard activity porting games to Stadia?
When has Google ever stuck with a flop for 5-10 years
Google knows how to fuck up their products on their own:)
