We moved from Bay Area to Seattle Area around a year back. We were in California for several years, so are very much use to sunny and bright weather. We were able to survive first winter in Seattle last year waiting for summer. The real summer here was just for 3 months (July - Sep). My wife have been having severe health issues this year and due to COVID (WFH etc.) + weather here, she went to depression too. Medical system in US didn’t help much and the only option we were left is that she traveled to our country of origin with my son. She traveled back and we hope she will get good treatment there and with family support, she will get well soon.
I have been mentally very strong but after they left, I have been feeling very lonely and started to going to depression because of this weather and COVID WFH situation.
It’s holiday season and I cannot travel to my country as my visa is not stamped and embassy is operating with limited capacity. I have plans to leetcode + reading DDIA etc. but not able to play with my mind to come out of loneliness and depression.
Please give me tips to survive in this life threatening situation. No troll please.
