Skyscanner Offer Evaluation

I am at offer stage at Skyscanner for Senior Data Engineering role at Edinburgh/Glasgow. The initial offer is £80k base + 10% bonus.

If anybody can also provide some details around the offer and work culture (especially after last year covid redundancies)

TC - 64k base + ~10% bonus
YoE - 13

    Skyscanner is a great place to work. Your offer is actually much more generous than for other senior engineers I know in Scotland, but you do have a lot of experience.

    Work culture is generally excellent. Great work life balance, decent benefits.

    Not in love with the senior leadership team right now but they’re doing their best in tough times, and communicate often.

    I don’t work in the data side but the challenges and opportunities there are probably very interesting.

    I’ve worked in many places and Skyscanner is the safest and happiest I’ve felt. All places have issues but you’re treated like an adult here, and one who cares about their well-being and family as well as work. So I’m happy to recommend it.

  • Sorry to say bro, but you already had lesser base, so is the hike offer. But they should give atleast 85k pounds as base.
