Hello,
I have recently applied for policy specialist tooling & program role at google. I was wondering if anyone had any interview preparation tips or have any insight to what the team is like.
I have no background in policy but I have worked 2 years in tech consulting, but heard this is great way to break into google.
Also would love if someone could give me a rough estimate for TC as I have seen it all over the place

What are your questions in particular about the team? And what city? TC varies based on geography
What would you say would the day to day is like she said it’s like middle man role working with engineer and legal team with loads of data.
She said Mountain View or Austin!
Would you know estimate TC I should be expecting?
Do you work in this role right now?
And for interview she said 4 interviews left 3 back to back to back and will help mainly trying to see my thought process and mainly behavioral.
Could I connect with you off blind if you don’t mind to talk a little about your experience
You’re free to PM me though not sure how helpful I could be!
MTV would be around 105 base for L3 and Austin is around 85k base.
I don’t work in the role right now but I have previously
And yeah they will want to know how you think through issues
