I obviously would go but it’s a laughably ridiculous notion that I could ever get an offer from Albertsons

I interviewed with them for APM awhile back - horrible place to work. Don’t go

Which companies do you suggest for APM? There aren't a ton of these roles and beggars can't be choosers

The fact that Walmart PMs are moving on to greener pastures means they have learnt something here and are able to sell it.
As an APM, you will learn a lot about product management. It's one of the few companies where-in you impact millions of customers + drive the vision (vs Engg in FAANG).
Only piece of advice, pls join the right org i.e. customer experience team. All other teams will give you a flavor of PM but not quite as impactful.

Isn't that the goal of all APMs i.e. to transition in 2 years max to a PM role? If you want to be an APM for more than that then there is something fundamentally wrong with your career path 🤔
