Walmart Bentonville
Hi All, Thank you firstly. This platform has been a greatly informative and supportive while taking certain decisions in my career. Today, I got a call from Walmart HR to discuss compensation for Software Engineer 2 position in AR. Base - around $85,000 Equity - around $10k Bonus - 20% Relocation charges will be offered. Currently, I work for Amazon, where I got PIPed and was unsuccessful. ;( For those who don’t know what does that mean, I have to leave Amazon within 15days even if I don’t want to. Update: I am also interviewing with Dassault and ASML. Please let me know which would you pick if offered.
Ok I have to ask, why in the name of god do you want to leave Amazon and go to Walmart in bumfuck Arkansas… Even if you got pipped, unless you absolutely need the job don’t do that to yourself

Well yeah, if you have no other option. Just checking, I am still interviewing though. Moreover, I don’t like the work culture here. They apparently have ‘work-life harmony’ which doesn’t give me any peace during the weekdays.
Ignore the haters. Bentonville is great. Does not feel like Arkansas
