I have 5+ YOE working at national nonprofits and I want to transition into the corporate world. I have experience with leading teams in addition to solid strategy, project/program management and recruiting skills. I should note that before I joined the nonprofit sector, I worked in corporate for 3.5 years at a large IT consulting firm where I had a functional role. I live in NYC. Any advice on how I can reach my goal, in terms of which roles I should pursue? How can I gain attention from corporate recruiters?
More money in being a PM. And considering you have strategy in your background you’d likely be happier there
