Want to work in London (Europe) as an American
I would like to work in London (Europe) for some good tech companies. Currently working in the US and have no work visa for elsewhere. Can anyone guide me which companies sponsor and also possibly refer me? Roles could be Software Engineer, Data Scientist, ML. #europe #visa #softwareengineer #datascience

It depends where in the US you are coming from and where you’re going. Europe is many countries, and even cities in a single country are different. As a general rule TC is lower, taxes are higher. Quality of life is different; whether it’s better depends on what you value. I believe Amazon salaries in London are not much lower than Seattle, however housing can be more expensive.
I would also add that banking is big in London and you may get decent comp in a tech role there. Also Brexit is making everything a little uncertain so it’s an “interesting” tune for the whole economy right now.
Uncertain how? They finally brexited last month. Not in EU anymore
